This session is intended to support our small retailers, service, hospitality, and specialty business owners to move past the panic and understand the mechanics of the upcoming big-box arrival. Join fellow local small businesses to find strategies to out-maneuver, weaponize, and be part of the disruption. The session will be broken into 5 modules:

Reality Check (the Lloydminster landscape, leakage reversal concept, and labour reality);

Margin & Inventory Defense (inventory audit, curation pivot);

Winning the Talent War (non-monetary value proposition, retention check-in, cross-training);

Marketing & Community Counter-Offensive (community impact versus pricing war; co-operative efforts; regional targeting); and

Action Plan (workbook completion and open advisory hot seat discussion with local experts).
